The Role
Really enjoyed it, I had learnt so much about the organisation and working with people, I would really recommend other students coming into the company.
I felt valued and close to each employee on both a personal and business level.
While my supervisor did quite a bit to ensure I developed my skills within the company, my supervisor also acted in a way that would encourage my independence.
I was busy most of the time and if I did have free time, I would ask for more things to do, as there was always something for me to be doing.
Depending on the task, I felt trusted and was given responsibilities without constant supervision.
I was constantly being given further more to do and in my last few months was looking after the publicity for my own titles with guidance from the rest of the team.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office is great! It is very relaxed and informal but at the same time easy to get on with your work and get the job done.
Didn't feel there was much structure to the program, however the entry processes was set up quite well.
I wasnt "invested" in as such but I was used for my skills in certain areas.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
I felt very well trained and learnt as much about Financong as I possibly could have. We were well trained and I felt up for the challenge from day one, as we were very well trained.
The Culture
Lots of work nights out! Really helped me feel part of the company, and I socialised with the other interns too.
Well I was in Central London so the cost of commute and going out was quite expensive, however the internship pays really well so it was worth it.
There are different types of bars clubs and nights out! Depends what you like.
I'm sure if you look there are many extra-curricular activities. Personally I didn't find the time.
