The Role
I enjoyed it very much! I had a great time.
I felt valued by my colleagues who were always willing to help me with anything I needed.
My manager supported me the most at the beginning by giving me an introduction to the industry. As weeks went by, I was given more freedom to work on my projects as well as explore other areas of the bank, which I enjoyed a lot.
I had very busy days, as well as days where I had little to do...it varied a lot.
My project included working with some confidential information.
Definitely helped me gaining a better work ethic as well as various other skills that will be useful for my studies and beyond.
The Company
The buzz of the trading floor is the best!
Generally very well organised with a lot of opportunities to work with other Academy and Undergraduate students as well as detailed feedback of our performance with areas for improvement.
Definitely a big investment in young people.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I would love to get a permanent job with RBC.
The Culture
