The Role
The work was great, my tasks were challenging and the people helped and supported me through any difficulties I encountered.
I felt that colleagues valued my opinion, and were grateful and saw value in the work I produced. I never felt like I'd been given a task to keep me occupied.
My manager was always fantastic in providing support and advice when I needed it, but allowed me to work independently when I was comfortable with what I was doing.
Varied from day to day.
I feel that the tasks and projects that I took responsibility for were genuinely important and directly impacted to customers and as a business.
As far as management and marketing skills, I'll always use the skills and refer back to the knowledge I gained throughout my internship.
The Company
I was in the most lively department of the office and everyone was excited about a new development in my brand.
Well-structured in terms of how our development was tracked. I felt that thought had gone into who was chosen as the interns' managers and the projects that were allocated.
I went through some training at the beginning and learned more from the job than anything else. I was provided with opportunities to gain a broad range of experiences.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Healthcare from home
A lot of time and resources is invested into the interns, meaning that both the intern and the company end up with a good idea as to whether they are a good fit for each other.
The Culture
The interns all got along very well, and the current graduate trainees always invited us to nights out & events.
Lived at home. London is fairly expensive for going out.
Nights out took place in West London, so were pretty decent.
With work, not so many. But the people you meet and work with organise activities.
