The Role
I learnt so much and I think will become aparant when starting back at Uni but I know it will certainly help me when applying for grad jobs.
Some days when there is a lot to do, everyone knuckles down and gets on with it, other days there is less to do and people have time to chat a bit.
The work placement was very well set up with a good structure. It was good to know what you were doing every day.
During the first month with the company all interns are put on a thorough training course. The course is run by the directors as well as other members of staff who take time out of their usual schedules. This shows the level of commitment to the training and development of the intern students straight away.
Extremely appealing. I feel I would have the potential to have a successful career in Nestle.

The Culture
I feel that the interns formed friendships really quickly this year and we regularly socialize outside of work, however, it is not just the placements who meet up out of the office.
Fairly expensive place to go out, however, as I was able to live at home during my internship and I was still able to save a lot of money.
Amazing but expensive. Lots of places to go to during night outs.
If there is not already something being organised by some one you can organise something yourself. There are always company wide emails being sent round asking who is interested in doing some sort of activity.
