The Role
The job itself was nothing special but the people and learning the language was what made it for me.
By the time my French had improved to efficiently communicate I felt I was one of the family and didn't want to leave.
They were always there if I needed it.
There was less work to do by the end of my placement due to my improved efficiency and changes to my role and the department.
I had a certain amount of responsibility but I couldn't really mess things up to a large extreme.
My general business awareness has already helped with my final year so far.
The Company
Lots of banter!
Very well organised due to a long standing agreement with the uni and the company.
Not that much really.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Organisation is good to work for but I would want another job in a differnt regional area.
The Culture
There were two of us and we lived together. Did most things together but it wouldnt have been the same without her.
cheapest region in france apparently.
Compared to Britain it wasn't the same for nightlife but the pubs and bars were good.
there were lots of things to do and see. I sailed there for half a year.
