The Role
I really enjoyed my time! I learned a lot, made new friends and gained valuable skills.
I felt like they were glad to have me working with them.
My manager was always nearby to help if I needed it. They really guide you here.
I was busy everyday but I loved how much I was able to learn from having so much work to do.
I was able to manage a project which was a high responsibility.
I'll be taking my skills I learned to all my future jobs.
The Company
It was very professional. But it wasn't stiff. There was a time for laughing and joking.
You could tell they've ran many internships before. The program was very well organized.
They believe that we are the future so they really invested their time and energy into the interns.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Microsoft has tough competition for employment, but I've gained the skills I need to make a good impression with them.
The Culture
We went out to shows and shopping together every once in a while.
I felt it was expensive, but others felt it was manageable. It just depends on where you're coming from.
Fun! I always had a good time going out to pubs and for dinner with other interns.
There were intern events so we could get to know each other and socialize outside of the work day.
