The Role
I had a fantastic time and was able to take in so much new information.
It was just like I belonged there! Everyone was really friendly and welcoming.
They were so helpful. During my time shadowing my manager, he taught me so much.
The world of retail is busy! There was always something to do!
I was treated as though I was being trained for full time employment. I wasn't babied just because I was an intern.
The skills I learned will definitely give me an edge up on the competition when applying for jobs.
The Company
It was a busy and upbeat atmosphere. There was always something going on, so sometimes things felt hectic but it was so much fun!
It was a great program to be involved with. They taught me and guided me every step of they way. You could tell it was a well run program.
They dedicated a lot of time to working with me personally. They didn't just tell me to do something and send me on my way without showing me.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
There's a chance to get into Aldi's Management Training Program if you do well during the internship.
The Culture
We all laughed and joked with each other and made friends.
It was reasonable in my opinion.
There was enough to do to keep anyone occupied depending on what they like to do.
We all went out for dinner occasionally.
