The Role
Really enjoyed placement was a worthwhile experience. Attended trainings which will be useful in the future too. Had a variety of different tasks to do
really friendly my supervisor was a ex aston university student so was very helpful
My supervisor started off with supervision every 2 weeks and then after a few months we had supervision every 4 weeks including one assistant meeting every month
I was able to plan my own diary. had some days in the office some days out the office
i was able to go on visits on my own, doing important admin tasks too.
Definately learned some skills which i will take further. Doing dementia training will help with my module for next year
The Company
Really good was quite relaxed saw everyone regularly, had team meetings once a month too so saw everyone.
Very well organised set timetable for 1st 4 weeks
Went on roadshows, and attended training
The Culture
Went on birthday lunches for team members, leaving do's, christmas party within work hours and after
Everything is expensive in this climate!
Birmingham has a good nightlife
