The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed this internship.
The other colleagues in my team made a real effort to get me involved in worthwhile projects.
Anyone in the building was always available to ask for help.
I was given a pleasant amount of work and I was told to speak up if I felt I was being worked too much/little.
The work I completed, although admin, was quite important.
Despite all the technical skills I learned (Excel etc) I took away a great deal of behavioural skills. The main thing for me was learning how important development is in a career.
The Company
The atmosphere at ASDA is really pleasant, I really didn't meet anyone who wasn't extremely friendly and helpful.
My supervisor had work planned out before I even arrived!
ASDA has a huge focus on personal development.
Subsidised Canteen
I am returning for a year in industry!
The Culture
I had the chance to attend the Away Day for graduates.
Leeds is more than reasonable to live in, with a huge range of property depending on budget.
