  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I thoroughly enjoyed this internship.

    • The other colleagues in my team made a real effort to get me involved in worthwhile projects.

    • Anyone in the building was always available to ask for help.

    • I was given a pleasant amount of work and I was told to speak up if I felt I was being worked too much/little.

    • The work I completed, although admin, was quite important.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Despite all the technical skills I learned (Excel etc) I took away a great deal of behavioural skills. The main thing for me was learning how important development is in a career.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • The atmosphere at ASDA is really pleasant, I really didn't meet anyone who wasn't extremely friendly and helpful.

    • My supervisor had work planned out before I even arrived!

    • ASDA has a huge focus on personal development.

    • I am returning for a year in industry!

    • I had the chance to attend the Away Day for graduates.

    • Leeds is more than reasonable to live in, with a huge range of property depending on budget.
