The Role
Work was fast-paced, but could have been more challenging at times. However, was deliberately given a high level of responsibility and multiple and varied tasks, projects and challenges to completed over the three months
Made to feel extremely welcome. Attended football sessions with work colleagues and several graduate socials among other days out
Both my mentor and line manager were excellent in giving advice and helping as and when I needed it.
Busy all day multi tasking and simultaneously working to deliver project. On the other hand, no one orders you what to do, and many projects are open ended. Can take a break for whenever you want, for however long you want because of everyone just wants to work to improve the business. There is a high level of employee trust, focusing on delivering results.
Given responsibility for develop lean systems and strategies integral to the business and wider corporation.
Lean certification + MPDS Accreditation gained, in addition to develop soft skills, technical engineering knowledge and skills, experiences and professional behaviours
The Company
Very relaxed and friendly. People enjoyed work and so did I.
All systems and desk were setup for arrival. The work I was given was integral to the business and I was happy to give it my best.
Mpds scheme certification paid for. Lean certification paid for. Training in RCA and value stream mapping provided.

Haven't received an offer yet but am in talking with a different site in the uk for a graduate position. I have a referral from my previous manager which I have been told will speed up my process to receiving a job offer.
The Culture
Many social events on and could easily be arranged for further contacf.
Glasgow is fairly cheap as a city.
Brilliant nightlife in glasgow. Also visited edingburgh Comedy feat over the summer which was amazing.
Football and other sessions with colleagues was common among other events. Also endless opportunities within glasgow city
