The Role
It was a new experience adjusting to different offices, different teams of people and different tasks you were set.
It felt like they could always rely on me when they had a lot of work to be doing. Even if it were the easy parts, I felt as though they really appreciated me there to do it.
Everyone was always happy to give advice on their working experience and development. Additionally if I had any queries with the work I was doing anyone would be happy to help.
There were some days that were very quiet. The team I was working with tried their best to find work for me.
I was given the responsibility of completing a whole section of the audit by myself, the payroll transaction testing.
It didn't so much help me with my studies but it really helped me with my commercial awareness and understanding businesses.
The Company
Did not spend much time in the office as we were out on client's sites a lot of the time. But when we were in the office it was fun with the other interns, sometimes dull when there was a lack of work available.
Every aspect was thoroughly organised thought through and there was good communication between all aspects of the programme.
We received a 3 day residential induction training programme, and then also had to research and present a tendor pitch to Executive Directors and Senior Managers. They provided feedback on this.

Company Parties/Events
I received a job offer, the organisation is very friendly with good communication and prospects for promotion.
The Culture
The area where my office was located was not great for socialising after work. However we organised a Rounders match between the office which was well attended.
Lived at home. We went out for dinner and lunches very regularly which were really nice.
Not used.
Rounders match, evening meals and there was a regional final event with 100 interns residential again. VERY fun.
