The Role
My internship was great fun, challenging and full of social events along the way
I was complemented regularly when I completed good pieces of work
I was given help by both a Buddy and Counselor which was very useful and helped get the most of my internship
The internship started slowly, however by the time the last few weeks came I had plenty of work to do on a regular basis
I was taken to client sites and helped with graduate, chargeable work
We had regular training sessions which helped further my knowledge in many areas
The Company
Everyone in the office was very friendly and happy to talk and help. The layout was very open which encouraged interaction
Very well organised. The graduate recruitment department set up training and events very well and there was a clear plan for my six weeks from day one.
I was given regular training sessions by Directors and above on different areas of the business (around 2-3 a week)
Company Parties/Events
The chance to work my way up within EY is exciting, with regular opportunities arising according to current employees
The Culture
Many of my fellow interns as well as other colleagues arranged and attended several social events during my six weeks
The area (London Bridge) was extremely expensive for food and socialising!
There was quite a few bars and pubs around the area as well as restaurants
I attended a society fair within EY which offered many opportunities, and regular social activities were set up
