The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Apart from work, we had many social events organised by the Summer Internship Team which made the internship a blast! As for work, I really enjoyed working alongside my team.
My colleagues were really nice, friendly and supportive. They were always ready to give us guidance at anytime (provided they don't have meetings).
My supervisors and managers were really supportive. They never hesitated to explain anything when I was in doubt.
I was rather busy most of the days, as were given actual responsibilities to take on.
I was quite impressed with my supervisors on how much responsibility they placed on us.
I have gained invaluable skills which have made me view university differently now, and I have realised I have gained some positive attributes which have helped me in classes!
The Company
Atmosphere was professional and rather chilled at the same time. We have small chats over short coffee breaks whenever we're done with a piece of work.
Everything was organised smoothly in terms of induction events, social events, training and work.
Constantly met up with my counsellor on a weekly basis who keeps track with my progress in my personal development.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Managed to secure a graduate offer.
The Culture
Had regular drinks with fellow interns.
To be frank, living in central London can be quite costly.
Nightlife in London was rather superb! There's just so many things to do.
We were involved in a CSR day during the induction week at an ecological park.
