The Role
The people were very friendly and took time to explain the work
I spent 6 weeks with the same team, and within the first week I was very settled and felt at home.
I was given a lot of support by not only my manager but the other members of the team. Everyone was willing to help and explain things to me
Varied on a day to day basis depending on the information the client could provide.
Once I became more competent with the work, i was given more responsibility. This was ideal as I had the chance to get to grips with the audit process.
Skills can be used directly in a grad job, as well as the day to day office interaction which will help me throughout life.
The Company
We had lunch together everyday and management ensured we had some fun on the job.
Very well organised. Instructions were clear and the induction in London at the beginning of the placement was a great way to begin.
The members of the team took time to explain the reasons behind tasks that I was set. This means in the future I can apply these skills to new clients.
Subsidised Canteen
I was offered a job following my placement.
The Culture
Very good social scene among fellow placement. We met everyone at the induction and were reunited in the finale ball. I have kept in touch with some people since it has finished.
London- high cost of living and socialising. Midlands- less costly.
Good nightlife.
Sports teams, social meals and tasks to help the community.
