The Role
Great variety of work and great team. I felt like I was involved within the team and was a valued member.
I was given important tasks and client deliverable work to do. I felt that this gave me a lot of value and my colleagues did value my time and work.
My supervisor was excellent. He allowed me to develop at my own pace, but also gave my very valuable input and advice in how to improve my work.
I was given a good workload. This level of work allowed me to have time to investigate other areas of the firm and learn a lot about the team I was in.
I was given a fair amount of work, but not too much. I think it was an appropriate level given my skillset compared to the rest of the team.
I have developed a great skill set whilst working at EY and I even apply them at my time in university.
The Company
The atmosphere was OK. It wasn't a very lively office and was very much concentrated on work.
The internship was set up in a great way and had a very clear structure with good objectives.
The company invested a lot of time and resources into me, and it is evident from the skillset which I have developed.
Company Parties/Events
I was offered a training contract with the firm which I have accepted.
The Culture
The social scene was very good. There was a great balance between work and team events. Team members made an effort to ensure that they were socially active.
London is very expensive and I struggled to afford most things unfortunately,
There wasn't a lot of opportunities to partake in the nightlife unfortunately due to the cost.
They actively encouraged activities otuside of work such as corporate social responsibility days and volunteering opportunities.
