The Role
Really well organised with events throughout to help me socialise and feel welcome.
Everyone made an effort to introduce themselves and to get me involved with their projects as often as possible.
I was allocated a buddy and a counsellor who were both very helpful and also opened up opportunities which I wanted to experience while at the firm.
My department was very busy but this was enjoyable as the work was varies and I was very rarely found twitching my thumbs.
Only so much responsibility you can be given when working with sensitive data.
The skills I developed will definately make me feel more confident when faced with new situations.
The Company
Everyone was really upbeat and although everyone has to work hard there are lots of downtime activities orgqnised to keep morale high.
Everything was very smooth and enjoyable.
I was able to get involved in actual live projects. This enabled me to learn key techniques and quickly.
Offered a job in Transaction Tax.
The Culture
People met for drinks most nights after work.
Naturally very expensive being in central London but you get what you pay for!
Very lively, with lots of different venues suitable for all tastes.
Yes there were lots of opportunities such as sports teams and other societies.
