The Role
This year has given me a fantastic insight to business, I feel I have delveloped my business skills but also personally feel I have matured within the role and taught me many more life skills. A great oppertunity.
I have been made to feel very welcome and considered and treated the same as any employee.
Whenever I have needed support it has been availabel. I was also made to feel like I could ask for help and support at anytime.
I think i has a good amount of work, at time there is too much work but can be looked at as a challenge, and one I enjoyed.
I have been given much responsibility and have made some choices such as choosing products to feature in nation wide Co-operative food stores.
I really do feel the skills i have learnt can only help me. The job has taught me much about the food retail world, but more than that I have learnt how to work well in a large corporation.
The Company
Always felt happy with the atmosphere.
Have no real complaints, never felt I did not know what was going on.
The company has given me the training to work within the job i am doing. It could of been excelled perhaps by being placed on more courses in other areas.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Very appealing for the future, no certainties but good prospects for the future.
The Culture
A great social scene and was able to build some great realshonships.
Living was expensive and on what is a small wage did struggle at times, but cant complain!!!!
Manchester is Awesome!
I was taken to old trafford to watch Manchester United, played for the Co-operative at the reebok stadium, plus many supplier events/charity events.
