  • I really enjoyed my role and learned a great deal from it.

  • I had a highly supportive team who would respond positively to my work and would always show their appreciation when appropriate.

  • My manager gave me support whenever I required it.

  • My work came in peaks and troughs but I was usually quite busy.

  • I was given lots of responsibility over various tasks and the management of systems.

  • My role related directly to Operations Management modules I had taken so I gained in depth knowledge about how Lean Six Sigma operates in real working conditions.

  • The people were very friendly and always make an effort to say hello or have a quick chat.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Xerox employs around 80 students so there are always social events going on.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Uxbridge and London are very expensive.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Uxbridge is quite a small town but it is easy to get to London where there is lots to do.

  • There were some but not many directly related to the company.
