The Role
A perfectly balanced programme, combining work experience, training, corporate responsibility and social aspects.
felt very valued by all.
My manager was sitting opposite me and so whenever I had a question I would be able to ask him for help. Also my buddy was there for me from 3 weeks before i started providing guidance and getting me involved in the social side of GT.
constantly given work to do, but not too much that it was stretching.
Alot of learning curves were experienced as I was given work to do on big proposals as well as final reports. Made me feel valued and the proposal was a big piece of work for GT worth £300, 000!
All aspects of the internship will be relevant for the rest of my working life i.e. business develoment skills, business impact skills, team working, presentations, working to deadlines, self study for when i have to undertake the ACA etc. As for my degree my dissertation is based on the risks associated with cloud computing which is directly related to the work i was doing at GT.
The Company
The team was so friendly always joking about and having a laugh. As well as actually getting on with serious work. Social side such as GT cricket matches and national football tournament meant there was always something to talk about.
As i said earlier a perfect mixture between work, fun and play also including volunteering workd.
They invested as much as they could in the short period of time, and it gives an insight into what they will invest in the future as we got to go down to high wycomb to see there training facilities.

The Culture
In london offices it was more prevalent as everyone is closer together however there were always people going for drinks after work on fridays and you spend your inductions, training and CR days with your fellow interns.
I lived in my uni house so it was perfect.
Very good, I was based in leeds which has very good nightlife.
As i said, the CR day, GT cricket match and football tournament as well as running clubs etc.
