The Role
A thoroughly enjoyable placement with a FTSE 250 company. The role provided a fantastic scope for understanding what it takes to become a fantastic 360 consultant.
I felt really valued by my fellow colleagues. They placed allot of responsibility upon me, which allowed me to develop the correct skills to become a 360 consultant.
All the time, the training program was excellent and the support and guidance given to brilliant.
It is very difficult to rate, you are always busy, the harder you work the more you earn!
My role evolved and changed over time, but I had responsibility of co-managing client accounts on a daily basis and interacting with client and candidates from graduate to director level.
You learn the art of working! When you are university, you can take it for granted. But working in a fast paced environment, you learn what it takes to be successful and if you can take this work ethic back to university you should do very well!
The Company
It was a hard working environment, but you had a really good laugh with your work colleagues.
Very well organised, your director really takes time in training you and the development process has improved a lot since I started in 2012.
Invested a lot of time in teaching you the relevant skills, providing you with 1-on-1's and highlighting areas for improvement.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Really good, the more money you make the higher up the 'ladder' you move, each level coming with added perks!
The Culture
Very good, lots of nights out with colleagues and fantastic events put on by Hays.
I worked in London, so obviously this came with it's costs. Always useful if you have family members to stay with etc.
Good, few good bars etc
All the time: sports teams, clubs, social events.
