  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I enjoyed working in an engineering office and working with a variety of different people within the company.

    • Everyone in the office were friendly and were willing to help and i soon settled into my placement.

    • I had support and guidance by everyone who was in the office especially on any drafting issues and general engineering problems.

    • I alway had work to do and was allowed to work at my own pace.

    • I was reponsible to make sure the the information on drawing was correct to what the designer had requested.

    • My placement help me to learn more about engineering practices and how there are applied, the skills i learnt were definitely use in the future.

    • The atmosphere within the office was friendly and enthusiastic.

    • I found the organisation of the placement was good although the beginning of the placement could have been handled differently.

    • Before i was allowed to work in the offices i had to go through 12 weeks of training to learn about standards and how to use the software.
