  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I enjoyed every aspect of my placement. Especially the responsibility that I was given.

    • My role was vital to the S&OP team within the UK logistics supply chain.

    • My managers and colleagues were able to give me support or advice whenever I needed it.

    • There were very rarely times when I had nothing to do. This was perfect for me as I enjoy having a busy work load.

    • There was a huge responsibility within my role, which I was extremely surprised about especially only being on placement.

    • They have given me great experience for applying for graduate jobs in the future.

    • There was a great balance between work and other social aspects.

    • The placement was extremely organised and seems to be improving year on year.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes there were various nights out organised with the placement students and other departmental nights out. I also played football in a departmental 5-a-side football team.

    • The placement was in Leeds which is a relatively cheap city.

    • Leeds is a great city in terms of nightlife, especially for students.

    • There was a great social side to the organisation and plenty of opportunities to get involved with activities out of work.
