The Role
It was a friendly, welcoming and exciting environment.
If I had performed well then they made sure to praise me which was a continual motivator
We had placement mentors. personally mine was very helpful and I felt that I could approach her at anytime throughout the year. Additionally my team were very supportive
Quite busy days.
I was given a large amount of responsibility which was rewarding and motivating. The harder I worked the more responsibility I was given.
The skilled I have acquired are invaluable for suture studies and employment.
The Company
Exciting and fast-paced
We are given clear job roles, however much of this was managed my the team itself rather then internship dept. We had infrequent meetings with other interns until after Christmas.
We were always able to sign up for any training and after Christmas many of the courses were made mandatory.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
They have made it clear that there are future opportunities however we are to be employed back in at the same level we arrived.
The Culture
My team made an effort to organise social events, we all worked hard and therefore it is important to keep spirits high.
London is London, the prices don't vary much. The local pubs offered a reasonable night/afternoon out
Camden is a very sociable area
As well as numerous social event, there were also Charity and Sporting organisers
