The Role
Found it very interesting. The people where very nice and social. The work challenged me intellectually
Colleagues would often praise my work or give me advise on how it could be improved. Or the way the industry goes about it.
All colleagues I came across where always happy to help and assist me in as much way possible
There was a lot of work to get through which I personally enjoyed having to meeting deadlines as it gave a better insight into what it would be like as a graduate
I was given a great deal of responsibility working on real life projects and meeting clients
Gave me a much better insight of engineering when I returned back to uni
The Company
Very positive atmosphere. Friday afternoons with cake breaks was very good.
Very well set up with a clear understanding of what was expected of me and the work I would be doing.
A manager or graduate would often invest his time helping with me work and explaining what I had to do.
Sports and Social Club
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very positive as they have offered me a place with themselves for next summer.
The Culture
Every Friday graduates went out for drinks and often lunch was all spent together.
Due to being at uni in that city it made it cheaper
Being at uni there I knew the nightlife was good
Lots of social events such as football
