The Role
So many different things to do everyday. Given a lot of responsibility and independence immediately. Colleagues are fun to work with! A fun place to work!
Felt valued by colleagues on same level as myself, however, higher management could show more appreciation for employees
Support and training was given. Support in regards to showing recognition for work did not occur frequently. However, this depends all on the specific manager so may be different else where.
Every day is busy without fail, always something to do. Never a boring task!
A lot of responsibility is given especially when you first start. It's a good way of learning things first hand.
The sales skills I have learnt I can apply to any role in the future. My time management and organisational skills have also become better as a result of this placement
The Company
Generally a positive atmosphere overall
There isn't so much a structure for each day as every day is different. Which ever tasks need completing will be completed that day, that's pretty much the system I followed
Training was given once every 2 months or so. However, it is expected that if you want to learn more, then it is up to the individual to enquire about more training from their supervisor.
When I graduate, essentially I have a job waiting for me when I go back.
The Culture
Due to the shift work at the airport location, it is difficult to meet with team mates. Not many social areas were around the airport area.
Fairly acceptable, not too expensive.
No nightlife whatsoever, have to travel at least 20 minutes out. Again this is dependant on location though.
Footballing activities among other events
