The Role
I was an amazing opportunity especially for a pharmacy student, allowing me to see how many great career options there are for a pharmacist.
I felt like a member of the team that apart from hard work laughed and joked together.
My manager was beyond superb, always guiding me and willing to teach and explain to me.
Completing projects allowed a balance between lab work and office work, making it seem balanced.
Quite a lot actually, I was responsible for generating data that would be used by other teams in different departments.
This placement allowed me to develop analytical and laboratory skills, as well as presentation and data manipulation skills. I was trained in using a variety of tools and equipment, which has enabled me to understand the concepts learned at university.
The Company
It was great fun. In my office people chatted away and made jokes on a constant basis. I was not tense at all.
It was well organised, however, it could have been better if we met pharmacists in different roles who explained their career and what they do.
I had to complete many training modules to develop my skills, but on the personal front not much. I guess as a full time worker this would be different.

Working from home
Definitely!! After gaining such an insight and hopefully having made a good impression.
The Culture
Us students had great fun and have become close friends.
There was not much going on where I was placed, but in the area there was a good reasonably priced gym with great state of the art facilities.
Commuted, so don't really know.
Apart from the gym not manty.
