The Role
Although the days were long and it was very tiring, I thoroughly enjoyed my time. I learnt more than I ever thought I could in 3 months and the people I worked with were lovely.
I felt really appreciated by everyone in the office for the time and effort that I put into the job. Even the head office staff and higher management seemed really appreciative. They always paid for us to go out for meals for a meetings and when we had reached targets.
The assistant manager and branch manager in my office were extremely helpful and taught me a lot. They always pushed me to learn new things and take on more challenging roles, but they gave me guidance and help when needed.
Some days were very busy and some days could be quite mundane. I think it's important in this job to be proactive and make the most of the time available when it was quieter to learn new things.
Through out my time I was given gradually more and more responsibility. I felt like my mangers trusted me and this showed in the tasks and responsibility they gave me.
In my 3 months at Enterprise I learnt the basics about many different aspects of business. I never knew so much went on behind the scenes - it's so much more than just renting cars! The insight into business has been invaluable and I will be able to expand upon these in future.
The Company
Although sometimes it could be stressful, everyone in my office generally got on very well. We went out for drinks after work and there was a good sense of camaraderie.
The internship started off with a 4 week training guide which involved training days at head office and also things to be taught in branch, which needed to be ticked off. After this, there are several things you need to do to complete your folder - for which you receive a financial reward for if you complete it in time. The training folder really helped with the organisation of the internship, and created a very in-depth training plan.
Throughout the first month, I attended full training days at head office at least one or twice a week. After this the training was mostly on the job, with a meeting with my immediate manager at least once a week to discuss how I was getting on and what I was learning. I felt like they spent a lot of effort with my training.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
I hope to be able to go back to Enterprise after university and I am currently helping Enterprise on my university campus with careers events etc.
The Culture
I went out for drinks after work with the office every so often, and the area organised a paid for night out for all employees. There isn't much time to socialise though with the long working week.

Due to the 50-60 hour week, there isn't time to do much outside of work.
