The Role
Very good placement if you're quite maths orientated, I'm not though! But everyone is lovely and willing to help, overall an enjoyable year.
I knew i was a valued member of my team, i had my own responibilites and enjoyed doing them.
lots of meetings and any training i thought i needed was provided for, including going to London for a day to see what goes on inside the houses of parliament
Can either be quite busy, or very bored for a few days, not that balanced.
I did the whole of an annaual report for our team, was left to work on my own for a week (in charge of the whole team)
Ive gained lots of IT skills
The Company
a bit quiet but it everyone was very nice.
Seemed a little disorganised when i started, but i soon settled in.
I had lots of external and internal training, a full excel course and a full access course as well as many others.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Above 25 days holiday
Ive enjoyed it but the job isnt for me.
The Culture
Many people went for drinks on a friday but they were all a lot older, so the other students mostly did our own thing.
I was in Leeds anyway, so I knew how much it cost.
In a big city it's always good.
mostly sporting
