The Role
It was superb. Interesting, enjoyable and a steep learning curve.
Very much so. The vast majority of people were very friendly.
[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] was always there to answer any questions, as was my line manager. 10/10.
There were a couple of quiet periods, but they didn't last long. There is always scope to seek out extra work and add new skills to your CV.
The managers give the interns a lot of responsibility. I enjoyed the opportunity of working on some quite high level things.
Massively - a great experience. Highly recommended.
The Company
Positive.
No complaints. Internship was smoothly run in my experience.
There were training opportunities and an emphasis on personal development.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very appealing - challenging roles and good salaries. Despite the impact of savage cuts to the public sector.
The Culture
There was a good level of camaraderie between the interns. We regularly had lunch together and even socialised outside of working hours.
I am Shropshire born and bred and continued to live at home during my internship.
Depends on what you're looking for. If you like quiet, character-filled pubs you will be impressed.
Yes, the previous cohort of Graduates extended plenty of invites and were welcoming.
