The Role
I enjoyed the work and the people very much.
I was definitely considered a group member by all my colleagues
My line manager was meeting me every day to ask how things were going. He was always finding time for me. Very helpful.
Very busy!
The project I worked on was considered important. The hope was to deploy some of the techniques I developed onto real products.
I found my training specific to the job role and different from what my studies concern.
The Company
People worked hard. Sometimes they were too busy to have fun. However, all of them were always helpful.
I do not think the internship program could be organised better
The internship program is well thought. The firm gave me courses and tutorials that helped in my daily job.
Financial Bonus
Above 25 days holiday
Got a graduate offer and I am joining Barclays Capital full time.
The Culture
Other interns were fun.
London is far too expensive!
Did not try any nightlife
There were opportunities but sometimes I was too busy with work to leave for those events
