The Role
I enjoyed it very much, it definitely exceeded my expectations.
Very valued as I was given very critical work to do and received a lot of recognition when my objectives were accomplished. My team treated me very well, as if I were in their family.
The support and guidance was outstanding, and I could always ask anyone whenever I needed
Perfect balance is definitely the right statement for this. My tasks were very challenging, however the time frame to meet my objectives was very well set, so I had a perfect balance of workload on a daily basis.
I was given a project and a responsibility to research and develop upon it. And the most important thing is that the project was actually critical for the business.
I received an opportunity to experience real projects on an outstanding company, which gave me a lot of skills, from technical to inter-personal. Most of them will definitely be for life.
The Company
The atmosphere was better than I expected, people were very fun, friendly and always willing to help, while maintaining the seriousness of an important Investment Bank.
It was very well organised, from the objectives set, to events and timelines.
The firm invested a lot. They provided very good e-training in a lot of subjectives, including financial business and technical as well.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
They are very good. If you do a good job, they hire you!
The Culture
It was amazing. I managed to make a lot of friends from the internship program.
I was expecting Canary Wharf to be more expensive than it was. However, it was just standard London price for everything. Not too cheap, but not too bad as well.
Nightlife was very good, a lot of pubs and restaurants around
Yes, a lot of social and sports clubs, as well as volunteering opportunities.
