The Role
It was difficult at times but my manager was really supportive.
I felt I was helpful to some members of the team I was in and they were happy to discuss my work with them.
Overall, the amount spent working was really good.
I had some responsibility but the team was obviously not dependant on me.
It has given me a good idea of what the work would be like and a good head-start in the industry.
The Company
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
The department I was working in employs a large proportion of the people working at the bank so there are a lot of different roles that I could take advantage of.
The Culture
Met many people from a variety of backgrounds that gives you a lot to talk about and to learn from the others.
I didn't really participate in the night-life but it was quite easy to socialise with other interns and there seem to be some places to go to around - bars mainly.
There were volunteering opportunities, various sports societies that you could join. You could also do something with the rest of the interns.
