The Role
My placement was a brilliant experience! Being in a professional working environment has allowed me to mature as a person and has helped me to identify my future goals.
I was regarded as a valuable member of the team. All staff at Gazprom Energy were friendly and approachable and it's a great environment to work in.
My manager provided me with a great level of support and was always on hand to provide guidance when needed.
There was a good balance of work load. I always had a task/project to be getting on with.
I was given responsibility for a number of key tasks within the department.
It has provided me with the experience and discipline of working in a business environment and confirmed my desire to work in Marketing in the future. I believe I will return to University more focused and enthusiastic to complete the final year of my degree.
The Company
The company ran a number of lunch-time learning sessions. I found the introduction to the gas and power industry sessions particularly beneficial. I also attended an all-day excel training session.

The Culture
Yes, great!
Reasonable.
The night life is great - (right in the city centre of Manchester!)
Yes, there is a Gazprom Energy football team, Sailing Club, Rugby club.
