The Role
Great work-life balance, very high-calibre employees who are simultaneously down-to-earth and very easy to get along with.
I felt valued from colleagues at even the most senior positions.
There was support coming from all directions: coach, buddy, and team members.
I almost always had something to do, and when I did, I felt that my work was impactful.
I was given as much responsibility as a permanent employee and was challenged past my comfort zone.
I acquired a lot of finance-specific knowledge as well as transferrable skills like how to confidently present and efficiently manage a project.
The Company
It's a very energetic place as everyone is so young and friendly. Plus, it's exciting to hear about everyone else's project on client site.
Training was useful and intensive. Assignment onto client projects could have been done a bit sooner.
The week of training was very good - but could have been a bit longer. Namely MS Excel training could have been more in-depth. In terms of ongoing personal development, my mentor was exceptionally helpful.
