The Role
Had great responsabilities, challenging projects, felt like a part of the team from Day 1.
I became quickly the guy to go in 3-4 areas which made me feel good about what I can deliver.
Worked closely, on a daily basis, with my boss.
Work a lot during business hours, but working hours were more than reasonable.
In charge of some trading strategies and of a big block of our BAU. Had a bit of time to do some research also. It's quite unusual for an internship and I'm grateful for that.
I developed confidence in my ideas, and some of my technical skills.
The Company
Go out with colleagues once a week, and good feeling on a daily basis.
I didn't feel like being an intern so I got no special treatment from my team. However, the program is very well organised my the HR team.
The company invests a lot in trainings for Grad program and summer intern program. Takes a lot of time but you got to meet people and high management which is great.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Did almost a year of internship there, got the offer 4 months after I began.
The Culture
Made a couple of really good friend here.
London is expensive but socialising at Canary Wharf is ok.
Great except on week-ends and after midnight.
Football leagues, volunteering, etc..
