The Role
Great opportunity, with loads of space for personal growth and career development
Everyone has been very friendly and kind. People come to me with issues they need help with, which makes me feel valuable
Any questions I have i go to my manager, she is very helpful with loads of experience
I have a great balance, there is always loads to do, but never too much that I get stressed.
I represented my deplartment in loads of different meetings as well as the morning walk around the factory. I raised my own Purchase orders as well
The best thing about a GE placement is the skill development and training schemes, i have never felt so positive about my future, which i want to be with GE.
The Company
Everyone works hard and does their job, but there is still loads of fun to be had, evryone is friendly and willing to have a good time
GE has taken interns for years, so their placement scheme is now flawless and they now have experience in facitlitating them
I have been on training days with cost $100 each time, we have week long events which are aimed at us developing our skills and applying them to different areas of the business

The Culture
Love my fellow placemnet collegues, there are 7-8 of us and we all socialise outside of work and also currently living with a few of them
Cheltenham is quite expensive, but you pay for what you get
Great places to socialise and party all round the area, a veriety of clubs, open every day of the week
loads of voulenteering opportunities and work events, from fun raisers to helping out the local community.
