The Role
I really enjoyed it. The opportunity was fantastic.
I was welcomed immediately by my team and other colleagues.
I had weekly meetings with my manager regarding progress and they were available at any time with questions I had.
This varied from day to day but overall I had enough to keep me challenged without being too overwhelmed.
I was given an important task and for 2 of the weeks I had to help look after things while some other team members were on annual leave. However, I still received support during this time.
The responsibility allowed me to learn new leadership skills as well as further technology skills.
The Company
My area was very busy all the time with things constantly being done. I enjoyed this atmosphere.
Very well organised. We received regular meetings on progress, appraisals and organised social events.
We had regular training sessions throughout as well as a week of training Classes in our first week.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I was offered a job with them for when I leave university and I have accepted.
The Culture
The other interns and staff were very social and we would go out regularly for a catch up.
Around average but people recommend different places.
Plently of pubs and clubs in Glasgow where I was based.
There were opportunities for volunteering.
