The Role
Excellent placement providing real job experience and opportunities to develop yourself
Felt a valued member of the team from the first day
Received continued support and guidance from my line manager whenever needed along with new role opportunities
Had a good balance of work on a daily basis and things could occasionally get really busy depending on projects
I was given a lot of responsibility during the placement and took on several large projects during the year
I have gained and further developed a range of skills from the placement year which will assist with final year and graduate roles.
The Company
Good general atmosphere within the office and everyone was approachable
The placement was well organised and structured
The company has a range of personal development courses which could be done through the internal employee learning site. However, there wasn’t as much funding for professional courses.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
There are opportunities for future employment
The Culture
Good social scene amongst the placement student with over 50 on the Uxbridge campus
Expensive due to the close proximity to London
Not great in Uxbridge however central London was only down the tube line!
There were a few events outside of work with the other interns
