The Role
It was a great experience of putting theoretical concepts learnt at university in real-life scenarios.
Due to the high responsibility of the job many employees were very focused on their own work which was acceptable.
My manager again was very busy during this period, however they did take the time to review with me the projects I had been working on.
It varied a lot the distribution of work however I found myself frequently not doing much as no work was available.
When I had specific projects they were value adding and relevant to work graduates would actually also be working on.
The experience has developed a lot of my interpersonal skills, moreoever presentation exercises have improved my public speaking.
The Company
The environment was great people were very work-life balance based.
I think the HR side was well organised in terms of different group events but the overall individual aspect could be bettered with making sure a schedule and dates for personal projects were completed.
There was a lot of training material available to personally develop knowledge in addition to a course at the beginning.
I will have to next perform another assessment centre.
The Culture
Since it was in London, we all had the opportunity to go out socialising after work when we pleased.
As it was London socialising was expensive in addition to commuting to work everyday.
Lots of different bars and clubs to explore so there was a diverse Nighlife.
There were a few such as sport but as an intern in a short space of time it was difficult to have the opportunity to do all of these.
