The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed the placement and provided a good place to exercise the skills i had learned and to develop new skills.
Part of the team, highly valued and integrated into team based activities.
Support was provided always when asked for and demonstrations of techniques and certain processes was always shown.
Perfect balance of work, it was always available but the time to finish it to a high standard without pressure was good.
Continued responsibility as time progressed, a good balance of challenges with standard work.
Highly relevant skills learnt and developed in a effective way.
The Company
A perfect atmosphere, easy to integrate into office.
The application process was a bit long but the other aspects of the placements was fine.
A good range of professional development opportunities to develop my skills, including CPD's and lunch and learns.

I would be very interested in gaining a year in industry with ARUP.
The Culture
A good interaction between the fellow placement students, seen as a group effort to complete tasks when required.
As i lived in my accommodation i used for uni it wasnt too bad.
The nightlife in Bristol is varied and accommodated my views well.
There were numerous opportunities to get involved with activities outside of work including pub of the month etc.
