    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • I was offered free accommodation and paid expenses, more than enough to do whatever I wanted to do.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Almost every event was held by people working for the company, lots of employees would come along to social events and three shadowing sessions completed the picture to the extent that by the last day we had really no question left to ask.

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Social events were quite enjoyable and allowed us to meet with interns from all other departments

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • There are lots of groups inside the company that are focused on stuff which isn't strictly related to work. These allow employees to pursue other interests and meet people who share those interests.

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • A great way to find out whether the industry and the company suit you and vice versa. Even if you don't like the banking industry or end up not working for them, it's a very enjoyable and useful experience.
