The Role
Was difficult initially but over time it became more enjoyable
To a small extent. This was primarily due to the fact that everyone was too busy to notice others
Was given support and guidance whenever questions were asked. Without asking little is given
Completely varied on the time of the year. When moving towards the end of the tax year I was busy, otherwise not so much
Given responsibility to some extent; however, every piece of work I completed was checked by others which slightly reduced my individual influence and responsibilty
Given that my degree is History, little in the form of academic learning. But very useful for people skills which will no doubt come in use beyond university
The Company
During work hours very serious
Organised well when assigned clients. When not there can be days when you don't have anything constructive to do
A one week training course before the internship be
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Difficult to say or judge, yet working for them for 6 months and getting to understand and know the firm is an advantage which should increase future employment prospects
The Culture
Yes to some extent, again depends on the time of year
Very expensive
In London its great; where the office actually is its not
Yes there are opportunities, often have to find out for yourself though
