The Role
Would happily come back here given the chance! I only haven't given it full stars because it technically wasn't perfect!
Very valued indeed, everyone here values each other whether they be intern or manager.
The main manager support I had was fantastic, unfortunately my direct manager (more of a supervisor) was a contractor and so didnt share quite the same enthusiasm towards me.
Again, this is simply down to having a contractor who didnt make time to come and assign me some work
Large responsibility considering some of the documents I was signing off would go straight to the customer to be produced!
In terms of the real world the experience i gained was a huge benefit. However, if anything it showed me that my course at uni could be a lot more directed at the outside industry.
The Company
It was very fun but mainly because there were four of us interns all sitting in a collective group of 4...we may have been the loudest in the office!
Again, other than perhaps giving me a contractor as a manager, it was fantastic.
They even invested a few thousand pounds in me so that i could complete a CATIA CAD training course
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Too early to say at the moment, would like to though!
The Culture
There was 26 of us interns so it was hard not to have a great social scene!
...but then again i am from southampton where i had the placement!
Bedford Place. Search it.
Took part in Football, paintballing, Santa fun run, meals out, nights out etc!
