  • The office atmosphere was friendly and very helpful

  • You earn their respect during the internship as you show off your skills and what you can bring to the table

  • We had a buddy who was a graduate so they were a sounding board for many questions and helped out with any issues we faced.

  • I usually finished between 5 and 6 each evening.

  • The level of responsibility stepped up as time went on, but this was a good thing and gave me more insight into the job.

  • The skills i learnt now transfer really well into some of my thrid year financial modules within my degree.

  • the open pln office meant communication was easy and their was a light fun atmosphere

  • there was always work for me to do and my buddy had organised who i was to work for during the six weeks.

  • you complete training for many key skills during the first week and then it is on the job learning for your more technical skills

  • you become good friends with the other interns and went on a few events in the evening with them

  • in manchester the social events in the evening are all fairly cheap

  • manchester city centre has a great nightlife scene

  • there was a company quiz and departmental social events every few weeks
