The Role
some work is good and has a lot of responsibility, some is dull and meanial
all seemed pleasantly surprised by what i am capable of and very welcoming
literally nothing. has not once sat down with me for an introduction or explanation of how everything will go.
pretty good amount
a lot more than i expected
nothing for the degree but a lot of life skills
The Company
colleagues are a bit old
no structure, just doing whatever manager required of you. this was not necessarily a bad thing it means there is scope for a lot of different tasks.
as GE is so big your training cost is nothing compared to other costs so training is plentiful
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
very competitive but a lot of very good grad schemes around
The Culture
28 interns in total so a very social place as an intern.
southampton is a pretty average costing city, £3 a pint most place rent about £350
slightly better than average
nothing amazing
