The Role
Work was varied and meeting different clients meant quite a lot of travelling which I enjoyed.
Everyone made me feel welcome and seemed to appreciate my help.
I had a Manager overseeing my progress on the internship leading to a meeting at the end where we discussed my progress. She was always approachable and would help me with any queries I had.
I was mostly busy but there were some days when the work dropped off and they ran out of things for me to do.
I was given responsibility over some fairly important tasks within some of the audits and had a lot of interaction with the clients.
I learnt a lot over the internship, mainly work based skills and confidence
The Company
The atmosphere was very friendly, everyone was approachable and on Fridays we often got out for a pub lunch when I was in the office
It was well set up with some flexibility over the work that I could choose.
On the first two days there was an induction course in Bristol where there was presentation skills training and general oversight into the firm.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
At the end of the internship there was an opportunity to apply for a full time job. I choose to apply for a different service line and different office so had to go for a Partner interview there. I got the job and will be starting there after university.
The Culture
There were only two interns at the office I was based at but whilst I was there we went to an office social which was volleyball and bbq on the beach followed by a night out in Brighton.
Quite high
Not far from London/Brighton
The office has quarterly socials and some sports clubs.
