The Role
You worked as part of a team and everyone's contribution and work was vital
'Counselling' system in place to give strong support throughout
There was always work to be done, sometimes you had tighter deadlines than others though
On certain clients I had a lot of responsibility, others not so much. It depeneds on the teams and the clients, but EY are not afraid of giving responsibility when needed which is wonderful
After seeing how things work in practice has really helped going back into final year studies
The Company
everyone is really friendly
very well organised with various events throughout the year getting the placement students together
they invested a lot. we began our ICAEW training and completed the first two exams. we also had on the job training which could be from two days to a week long course.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
i have a graduate job with them
The Culture
there was a large social scene within our placement year.
I was in London so it is all very expensive!
Nightlife in London is hard to beat - lots of variety!
A lot of opportunities in London, however it is having time to do it all!
