  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • This was my first experience of an internship and I have to say it fully exceeded all expectations. I was encouraged from the word go to make the most of it by everyone in the firm, and it thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • The culture allows for everyone to be valued, and everyone showed enthusiasm when I asked for help.

  • Despite my manager being very busy with an important project, he was very supportive and ensured I got the best experience.

  • I always had time to meet and network with people from around the firm but there were always deadlines to meet as well.

  • I was actually surprised by the level of responsibility I was given, but appreciated it nonetheless.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • This experience really helped me develop my softer skills and at the same time gave me the core financial skills to be able to work in the finance sector seamlessly.

  • My department was somewhat dull - lacking a buzz, but people were very nice.

  • quite expensive, but thankfully we were all earning.
