The Role
The work was much more interesting than basic admin but was quite repetitive. There wasn't a huge amount of variation but it was nice to do a job which was actually quite valuable.
My colleagues were really welcoming and friendly.
I was always able to ask questions if needed and never made to feel like I shouldn't.
I had a lot of work to get done which was good because I never had nothing to do.
I was performing a task which was actually valuable which was much nicer than doing filing work for example.
I was able to develop quite a lot of skills from working independently and in a team.
The Company
They seemed to have quite a few events going on.
The work placement was well organised and there was plenty of work to do.
They sent me to the London office to learn more about the work there which was interesting to see.
I was offered a position after my work experience.
The Culture
I lived at home and commuted quite a distance.
Not much nightlife where I worked at all.
There seemed to be several events which it would be possible to get involved with e.g. rounders, cricket
