    • Everybody was very welcoming, making sure I had things to do and plans for lunch

    • My trainee supervisor was very supportive and gave good guidance throughout the week

    • Closing presentaioin and interview brought the week to an end nicely

    • Very natural insight into real working life at the firm, with some special activities/presentations planned for the week too.

    • Opening presentation from HR on the firm and its culture and values, and detailed explanation from members of the team I was working with on their projects and tasks I was helping with

    • I gained first hand experience of working in the firm on a daily basis in a similar role as a trainee

    • Sitting in amongst a team in an open plan environment gave a real insight into the culture of the office

    • Yes, I received payment for my time.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes, at lunchtimes and through my set presentation, which meant that I had an excuse to approach and meet with employees of the firm to research

    • It would have been nice to meet with people after work, but the placement was only a week long and so this would have been difficult to fit in.

    • Yes, I heard about pro bono and sports activities from my trainee supervisor
